OUR SPECIALIZED SHARK DIVING BOATSNantucket Shark Divers' primary shark diving boat is a custom built 2001 36' Northern Bay Downeast. As a custom-built seaworthy vessel out of Maine, the Northern Bay is a heavy and beamy boat that provides safety, comfort and security for shark diving trips out to Nantucket's shark grounds. The Northern Bay is designed with comfort in mind for our valued charter guests. With seating for up to 6 people comfortable, the Northern Bay is equipped with everything necessary for a professional shark diving experience. This includes all of the latest safety and technological gear necessary for a successful shark diving adventure. The Northern Bay is designed to handle all of the conditions that we normally find in the Northeastern Atlantic Ocean and is stock with gear including: EPIRB, Radar, GPS, Marine Radios, and al United States Coast Guard required safety equipment. |

FINS is a customized 28 foot Eastern Lobster Boat. She is built for comfort and speed, getting you out and back from the shark grounds at a cruising speed of 25 knots. Fins is designed for the waters of New England and has plenty of room for our guests and gear to enjoy their day on the water. Available for 1-6 passenger shark dive charters out of Harwichport (Cape Cod), Fairhaven, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket. |

CAGEOur Shark Diving Cage is the latest in shark-proof safety diving equipment. Designed with the highest level strength, our cage also provides maximum functionality providing 360 degree views for up to two divers at a time. At 8 feet tall and over 4 feet wide, the California Shark Diving Cage allows our dive guests to be immersed in the water with sharks while being 100 percent protected from the sharks. Best of all, our cage floats on the surface just next to our boats, guaranteeing safe access to the ocean quickly and easily. Our shark cage is custom built for maximum protection for our guests. |

DIVE GEARFor all of our trips off of Nantucket Island, we provide quality diving equipment that includes dive masks, diving fins and snorkels. Water temperatures in the Atlantic can be cooler and we happily provide our guests with quality wetsuits to keep them warm and comfortable on any diving experience. Our team has everything necessary for a great shark dive on-board your shark diving boat. However, we do recommend that you bring aboard anything that you personally need to have a fun and comfortable experience on the open ocean. Your preferred sunscreen, towels, sunglasses and other personal items are recommended for the maximum enjoyment of your shark diving charter. If you have you own gear feel free to bring it aboard to use. |
